In this first month of 2011, not only a new year but a new decade looms ahead of us, and as usual, the media is urging us to look to the future. This is never truer than in the world of film, where every new release is marked on a calendar, quickly judged and then swept aside to make room for the next contender!

We’ll be seeing the continuation of a huge trend in modern film – the superhero movie. Already The Green Hornet is in cinemas, soon to be accompanied by films like Thor, The Green Lantern, The Avengers, the brand new reboot of Spiderman, and of course, completing Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

That’s certainly plenty to look forward to, but the truth is, looking back meets with just as many fantastic film offerings. 2010 was a great year for the superhero, and if you want a recap of just how great, there’s no better place than LOVEFiLM.

In a recent British poll of 2,000 people, Singer Beyoncé is the celebrity with the best body in the eyes of the women, but males prefer Megan Fox.

Beyonce got 24 percent of the vote, but one in five men gave their vote to Fox as having the sexiest body and named her as the woman they would most like to sleep with if their partner gave them a celebrity pass.

The attractiveness study, conducted by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to mark the Blu-ray release of Jennifer’s Body, starring Fox, found that as well as being women’s overall body choice, Beyoncé boasted the sexiest individual assets.

About 34 percent of men and women surveyed named her as the celebrity with the best bottom, while a quarter of respondents said she had the best legs.

Beyoncé’s bosom also topped among women, with 23 percent saying she had the best celebrity cleavage. Angelina Jolie and Fox shared first place among male voters in this category, both attracting 19 percent.

Beautiful Keira Knightley took the crown for the prettiest face with 18 percent of both men and women putting her top of the list, while Jennifer Aniston secured 17 percent.

She proves you can look great and not have to be “Hollywood” all the time.

Gorgeous Brian Austin Green has brought sexy back to Desperate Housewives. This show is absolutely brilliant about bringing in JUST the right people at JUST the right time to blend in with their already exceptional cast.

They did it with Vanessa Williams and now they’ve done it with Brian Austin Green.

Brian Austin Green, who plays a hottie handyman, has both Vanessa Williams’ and Marcia Cross’s characters hot and bothered. Great stuff!

Word is that Brian’s newlywed wife, our girl Megan Fox, has been dying to work with her husband, so the Desperate Housewives writers have created a cameo appearance for her on an upcoming episode!!

How cool’s that?

“Jonah Hex” (PG-13) has finally made it to dvd!  I loved this movie and can’t wait to grab a dvd for my Megan Fox movie collection.

Josh Brolin stars as a sexy bounty hunter whose feet are half in the real world, half in the one beyond. When the U.S. military asks him to help catch and kill the bad guy (John Malkovich) who murdered Hex’s family, Hex obliges.

Beautiful Megan Fox (Lila) assists him along the way.

The movie is a lot of fun and features a great cast. If you missed it in the theater, you’ll definitely want to own it on dvd.
