In this first month of 2011, not only a new year but a new decade looms ahead of us, and as usual, the media is urging us to look to the future. This is never truer than in the world of film, where every new release is marked on a calendar, quickly judged and then swept aside to make room for the next contender!

We’ll be seeing the continuation of a huge trend in modern film – the superhero movie. Already The Green Hornet is in cinemas, soon to be accompanied by films like Thor, The Green Lantern, The Avengers, the brand new reboot of Spiderman, and of course, completing Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

That’s certainly plenty to look forward to, but the truth is, looking back meets with just as many fantastic film offerings. 2010 was a great year for the superhero, and if you want a recap of just how great, there’s no better place than LOVEFiLM.

Have you heard the rumors about Angelina? I don’t know where it got started, but some people are reporting that when asked about Megan, Angelina allegedly said, “Is she aiding in Africa or sitting in on U.N. conferences? Donating herself to something bigger than Hollywood? I’m not familiar with her work, is she an Oscar contender?”

Personally, they’re two of my favorite actresses. In fact, I have 3 actress websites up and they’re dedicated to Megan, Angelina, and Keira Knightley. I honestly can’t believe Angelina would say anything like that. It doesn’t sound like her. She is the epitome of class and discretion – she’d never lash out with such venom toward a girl who has done nothing to her.

IF (and that’s the biggest IF in the world) Angelina DID say that, or anything remotely like that, I’d want to ask her, “What were YOU doing when you were Megan’s age?” In 10, 12, or 14 years – Megan may be doing all of those things and more.

She’s barely in her 20′s for crying out loud!

Anyway, I go on record again as saying that I doubt Angelina said anything like that.

There’s Smoke House hot, and then there’s Megan Fox smokin’ hot.

Megan took time yesterday for a rather long lunch at the Burbank eatery to take in some messy-good food and a serious discussion with a mystery man.

Fox, who broke off her engagement with Brian Austin Green last week, fought to keep her hands clean as she worked on the barbecue-chicken sandwich on garlic bread (the house special), according to general manager, Izzy Aviles.
