Megan Fox in Talks to Play Elizabeth Taylor

It appears Lindsay Lohan isn’t the only starlet in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor.

Although the Mean Girls star confirmed she is still up for the role in the buzz-worthy biopic to E! News Sunday night at the Weinstein Company Golden Globes after party, we’ve learned Lohan has some competition by way of Megan Fox.

“I’ve been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox,” Larry Thompson, the executive producer of Lifetime’s Liz and Dick, told E! News exclusively.

Thompson declined to elaborate further on specifics of the negotiations, but added that being in talks with more than one actress is not meant as an affront to the talent involved, but rather is simply de rigueur for projects of this nature.

“It’s a very serious selection,” Thompson continued. “It’s like casting for Hollywood royalty.”

And speaking of serious, a source tells E! News that while Lohan is still one of the frontrunners for the role, her probation status is “a complication.”

Lohan, who is on probation until the end of March, is due back in court Tuesday morning to face the judge in a probation status update hearing.

So, when will we know which star nabbed the role?

Rather soon, since the filmmaker plans to start shooting the movie in Canada as soon as this spring.

Chris O’Dowd Loved Fooling Around With Megan in the Pool!

Chris O’Dowd has said that fooling around with beautiful Megan Fox in a swimming pool was “one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.”

The star of The IT Crowd and Bridesmaids appears opposite Megan in their new film This Is Forty.

Chris told The Sun: “Fighting over Megan Fox in a pool was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done. We just improvised for maybe six or seven hours.”

He added: “Megan’s character is into sextrology, which is how your star sign affects your performance in bed. I kind of call her on that until Jason Segel’s character swoons in and takes her out of my grubby little paws. It’s a funny scene.”

The 31-year-old Irish comedian and actor joked, “I’m going to keep my accent in any movie I make because chicks dig it – and that’s all I care about now.”

Megan Fox’s Passion Play on DVD and Blu-Ray

Passion Play, with Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox, and Bill Murray is available on DVD and Blu-Ray (Passion Play [Blu-ray].

Naturally, all Megan Fox fans will want a copy for their collection but movie fans, in general, will want it as well. Mickey Rourke’s one of the best actors of our time and never fails to leave a lasting impression in his films.

Megan Fox Picture from This is Forty

Apparently the much-anticipated spin off of Knocked Up, This Is Forty, has added another cast member. Megan Fox posted a picture of herself on the set, in a swimming pool, with co-stars Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids) and Jason Segel. Knocked Up fans will remember that Jason Segel played one of the friends of Seth Rogen’s character in Knocked Up. He joins stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who reprising their roles as married couple Pete and Debbie in the Judd Apatow comedy, which Rudd recently said is a “companion piece” to Knocked Up and not a sequel.

Segel will also be starring alongside returning cast member Charlene Yi as well as Albert Brooks, Megan Fox, Chris O’Dowd, Lena Dunham, Melissa McCarthy, Ryan Lee, and Wyatt Russell.

This Is Forty is set to open in December 2012.

Megan Fox is Hilarious in the Knocked Up Sequel

Judd Apatow’s latest movie is a spin-off from the hilarious mega-hit, Knocked Up. This new movie stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann as the leads, and will boast a lot of famous faces as the supporting cast – including our girl, Megan Fox.

Here’s what beautiful Leslie Mann had to say about Megan:
“Megan Fox is so funny. She’s hilarious. You wouldn’t, I don’t know if other people [expect it], but I think she’s really funny, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.”

I can’t wait for this movie – I’m anxious to see Megan on the big screen again and, as a Knocked Up fan, this movie couldn’t come soon enough!
