Megan Fox’s Passion Play on DVD and Blu-Ray

Passion Play, with Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox, and Bill Murray is available on DVD and Blu-Ray (Passion Play [Blu-ray].

Naturally, all Megan Fox fans will want a copy for their collection but movie fans, in general, will want it as well. Mickey Rourke’s one of the best actors of our time and never fails to leave a lasting impression in his films.

I’ve added a section to Megan Fox Pictures for Passion Play screencaps. The gallery was recently redone by Stephany, so be sure to check it out!

Passion Play Trailer with Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke

Here’s the trailer for Megan Fox’s movie Passion Play. The movie, which will have a limited release, also stars Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray. On a positive note, the movie looks really beautiful (as does Megan) and pretty intriguing. I wish it were coming to a theater near me.

I guess, like most of us, I’ll have to wait for the dvd.

Megan Fox’s Passion Play Will Get a Theatrical Release

Contrary to a previous reports, the drama Passion Play will not be heading straight to DVD without a theatrical run. A rep for the film confirms that the off-beat thriller — starring Mickey Rourke as a musician who gets tangled up with a gangster (Bill Murray) and a circus freak (Fox) — will have a limited release in New York City and Los Angeles starting May 6 before heading to home video on May 31.

Above is the official movie poster – pretty cool.

The movie has gotten pretty bad reviews so far but at least a theatrical release gives it a shot at the public.

Megan Fox’s Passion Play Goes Straight to DVD

Like a lot of movies, Megan Fox’s new movie ‘Passion Play’ has gone straight to DVD.

‘Passion Play’ is about an angel who is under the thumb of a ruthless gangster and is saved by a trumpet player down on his luck.

Actor Mickey Rourke plays washed-up jazz musician Nate Pool who does not want to betray sinister gangster Happy Shannon, played by actor Bill Murray.

Fox plays Lily, a beautiful and mysterious carnival sideshow attraction, known as the Bird Woman.

Actors Kelly Lynch and Rhys Ifans also star in the film. Given the fact that it’s such an all-star cast, it’s really surprising that this one didn’t do better.

Passion Play Tease Videos

Newly released clips share teases from Passion Play and it all looks good.

Debuted by Trailer Addict, each of the clips focuses on the conversation between two characters. In the first clip, Megan Fox’s Lily is seen offering Mickey Rourke’s Nate a drink after he introduces himself to the circus freak.

Later, Lily is featured being given a diamond necklace by Bill Murray’s Happy Shannon though Lily initially refused it. The other snippet, meanwhile, sees Nate who is threatened by Happy while they sit together around the table of an eatery.

Passion Play premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.

So far, there’s no official release date for the film starring Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox. Mickey Rourke plays a down and out junkie/musician while lovely Megan Fox is an angel – complete with wings.

Megan Fox Gets a Tattoo Honoring Mickey Rourke?

Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke star together in the “Passion Play” movie, and apparently hit it off remarkably well. He has said several wonderful things about Megan and, if reports are true, she has honored him in a special way.

Megan Fox was a Mickey Rourke fan for a long time, and many tabloids are reporting that she has even gotten a tattoo in his honor.

“I got a tattoo which is dedicated to Mickey. It’s made right beneath my breasts, I don’t know if it appears in a photo, but I am sure it will eventually.” Megan said.

According to a source which is quoted by HollywoodNews.com, Megan Fox “is crazy in love” with Mickey Rourke.

” Mickey is such a beautiful person, a wonderful man. He’s so simple, sweet, honest and talented,” she said according to The Sun.

Mickey Rourke Has Great Things to Say About Megan Fox

Mickey Rourke has gone on the record to say that his co-star in the film Passion Play, Megan Fox, “is the best young actress I’ve ever worked with.”

Rourke continued

“I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented, but she really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing.”

So good to see Megan’s co-stars supporting her. She’s a very, very talented actress and if she weren’t so gorgeous – more people would recognize and admit it. That’s okay, all of that will come.
