As you probably already know, Megan Fox is out of Transformer’s 3. Yesterday, word everywhere was that Michael Bay had exacted revenge on Megan by demanding that she be recast.
Now, PEOPLE reports that it was actually Megan Fox’s decision not to return to ‘Transformers.’
“Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3,’” say Fox’s reps. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”
Word is that Gemma Arterton is a front-runner to be the new female lead in the movie.
Megan Fox‘s personal publicist told Moviefone.com that the rumors that Fox would star in the upcoming reboot of Red Sonja is “not true.” So much for that!
Word is that Megan Fox has been offered the title role in the long developing Red Sonja remake. Apparently Rose McGowan was previously attached to the movie, but the role might go to our girl in the end.
According to Pajiba, Fox has been offered the lead in the movie about the sword-carrying heroine. The remake has been in development for a few years with the last major attachments being producer Robert Rodriguez and director Douglas Aarniokoski, back when McGowan was set to star.
Nothing has been confirmed, but things look hopeful. The story is supposed to center on “an innocent teenager who metamorphosizes into an unparalleled warrior.” Sounds more like a role for Megan than any actress I can think of off hand.
This would be a huge role and opportunity for Megan. Fingers crossed!
Bill Murray has joined the cast of Passion Play, Megan’s next movie, a romantic thriller. Bill Murray is a last-minute replacement for British actor Toby Kebbell.
He’ll play the bad guy opposite leads Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke. Murray will play a gangster named Happy, who reportedly sets out to destroy the budding relationship between a down-and-out trumpet player (Rourke) and a “winged beauty (Fox) who’s now part of a sideshow attraction at a carnival.” This one sounds very, very, very interesting!
Megan Fox is currently shooting the film in New Mexico. Her character is described as an angel in 1950s Los Angeles who helps save a troubled trumpet player (Mickey Rourke).

Rumors are springing up everywhere that Megan Fox’s character, Mikaela Banes, will be killed off in the next Transformer’s movie (scheduled for 2011). I suppose they started because of the controversial comments made between Megan, Michael Bay, and certain staff members.
Thankfully, a representative for the actress has dismissed these rumors, telling GossipCop.com the reports are “not true.”
Great news! Now if we could only be assured that Bumblebee will be featured front and center – and will survive as well as Mikaela…

Word has it that Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox are both considering the role of Barbarella – a remake of the 1968 film starring Jane Fonda in the lead role.
Honestly, I’d be thrilled either way!
Several web sites, including The Sun, are reporting that Megan Fox has signed on to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie. The other stars are back on board as well – CHRISTIAN BALE, MICHAEL CAINE and director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN.
Shooting starts next year but the film is not expected to be released until 2011.
I’ll hold off on the total freak out and celebrating until it’s 100 percent confirmed – we Megan fans have been burned by rumors before!
UPDATE: As suspected, Warner Brother’s is disputing the rumors.

Megan Fox will be the host of Saturday Night Live’s premiere on September 26th in New York City.
“Megan is psyched to have gotten this opportunity,” an insider tells Life & Style. “She has a lot of surprises in store for the audience. This is the perfect opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills, as she’s launching her new movie Jennifer’s Body [on Sept. 18].”
Megan has been brushing up on her comedy by doing a digital short with funnyman Andy Samberg, the insider adds.

Apparently the rumors about Megan Fox turning down a James Bond role are fabricated. A rep for the beautiful actress told the press, “The report about Megan Fox turning down a Bond movie is completely not true. There have been no discussions nor any offers. Megan is a fan of the Bond movies.”
I would LOVE to see Megan cast in a James Bond movie. She’d be perfect.
“She-Hulk?” That falls under the category of wtf if anything ever did.
Nonetheless, rumor is that Nicolas Cage is working on “She-Hulk,” the female relative of the Incredible Hulk, and Megan Fox is in the run for the lead part. All of this according to FadedYouth.
I just can’t see Nicolas Cage signing on to do a movie called She-Hulk, but if he and Megan Fox are in it, I’m there. Love myself some Nicolas Cage madly.
