Megan Fox, star of the upcoming ‘Friends with Kids’,  is fascinated by history and would love to take a historical excursion somewhere before making her next movie.

Asked about her next career plan, she told MTV: “I would really love to go on an archaeological dig. I have an offer to go somewhere in England but I would rather go to Egypt or Syria or some place like that.”

People who know Megan Fox best say she is WAY into gaming. “Megan is a massive gamer,” says a friend of the star. “She loves to play with the boys and plays online a lot. Guys would have a fit if they knew who they were aiming at!”

The actress has previously revealed she likes nothing better than to blow away her fellow cyber warriors whenever she gets the chance.

“I have Halo: Reach. I have a complete addiction to that game. It is sick,” says Megan.

“I play online mostly and (other gamers) have no idea. They make fun of my gamer tag too because it is funny. They are all a bunch of guys and it is clear that I am a girl so they make fun of my name, and they have no idea they are making fun of me.”

Megan Fox has been named one of Elle’s top “25-something” celebs and is one of four cover girls for the October issue. Inside the issue, Megan opens up about her marriage to actor Brian Austin Green and her insecurities about being a young bride.  “When I talk about my husband, I feel as if people roll their eyes,” she said. “It’s like when you’re 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, ‘Do you think I’m stupid?’ They can’t grasp that I’m old enough to be married.”

Megan Fox recently explained why she she doesn’t have a Twitter account.

“I feel like it has a purpose because there are fans around the world that want to have some sort of interaction with you. But I feel like it is important to still keep some space and some distance,” she explained.

“I honestly don’t think that I am cool enough or important enough that anyone would care about what I am doing at all hours of the day, like, ‘I just had a latte from Starbucks and now I am going to Barneys. Love me some shoes!’ Who cares?” she added.

Megan Fox is still in the process of having her Marilyn Monroe tattoo removed and has her eye on two more tattoos to remove as well.

“Megan is making some big decisions,” says a friend of the beautiful 25-year-old actress. “Marilyn is almost gone and she has identified two other tattoos to go. She doesn’t regret having her tattoos but having grown up a lot in the last few months, she no longer identifies with certain things that inspired her when she was a teenager.”

Megan Fox recently admitted that she is a HUGE gamer and likes nothing better than to blow away her fellow cyber warriors whenever she gets the chance.

Megan Fox says she’s been trying to put on a little weight. The actress was spotted in brown leather shorts and a black tank top on the set of  This is Forty looking beautifully curvy.

“People thought, ‘Oh she must be anorexic,’ but she’s far from that,” her trainer Harley Pasternak said. “Believe it or not she has this really fast metabolism, so her training is all about body toning and sculpting. With her it’s really about whether she’s eating enough of the right things.”

What’s more, he said she “gets frustrated at times” because she needs to put on weight.

Megan recently told the Italian magazine Amica that she put on weight after she gave up her strict vegan diet.

“For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee,” she said. “But I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything. I train three times a week doing circuit training with my trainer Harvey Pasternak.”

She also confessed to Fox News she didn’t have the healthiest diet.

“I just stopped eating,” Fox said. “I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now I eat red-velvet cake before I go to bed every night, and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”

In Abu Dhabi to launch the latest 3D television on behalf of LG, Megan Fox sat between four of LG’s biggest players from around the world.

“I have one in my bedroom,” she told the audience at Ferrari World, Yas Island on Monday. “The 3D is amazing, um, we have a step son who is obviously going to be into 3D in every way.”

“I just learned that the TV has a setting that will convert anything you want to watch from 2D to 3D which I didn’t realize was even a technology that even existed. It’s a pretty impressive television.

“I actually also just learned today that with the Xbox you can use the Xbox Kinect and you can use that on your 3D TV and it converts the game. You use the glasses and it converts for you. I haven’t tried that yet but I’m going to try that as soon as I get home.”

Looking elegant, beautiful and classy, Megan continued while gorgeous husband Brian Austin Green looked on.

“All of the apps it has are great,” she said. “With YouTube, a web browser, it’s sort of an all-in-one home entertainment system and you don’t have to have separate components. You hook it up and everything is there. It really is amazing.”

Megan Fox is tired of people not taking her seriously as an actress. Apparently she’s interested in being in a play. I think she’s onto something here.

Megan is said to be toying with the idea of taking a break from starring in movies and heading for Broadway.

“Megan is desperate to get away from her Transformers image and move on with her acting career,” reveals a source close to Megan Fox.

“Theater really appeals to her. She has nothing lined up yet but she’s open to offers. She hopes to mix theater work with some smaller indy movies and only do big movies if they are right for her.”

Megan  — still a newlywed, having recently married gorgeous actor Brian Austin Green — has described her performance in new movie Passion Play as her best to date by far.

“The thing is I didn’t grow up in a television show or in theater where you can grow as an actress without all eyes being on you,” she says.

“My first job was Transformers and I have kind of had to grow with each project. I was under an incredible amount of anticipation with everyone watching me. I feel like the more I work the better I will become.”

Megan has nothing but positive things to say about her marriage to Brian Austin Green in June:

“Getting married was the best thing I’ve ever done,” she said.

“I married my best friend. I’m so lucky to get to be with him every day, and he’s my protector. I feel so safe and happy and completed.”

I never really thought about the dangers lurking in a bathroom but after reading what Megan Fox has to say about the subject, now I’m looking at it in a different light.

“I have an illness,” Megan reveals to Us Weekly. “Every time someone flushes all the bacteria is shot into the air … Ugh!” It turns out that Megan isn’t the only beautiful starlet with a potty fetish. It turns out Carrie Underwood, 27, feels the same way.

“If you go to the restroom, you use the stall that’s not near anybody,” Carrie says.

I can see that.
