Megan is promoting her next two movies, Jennifer’s Body and Jonah Hex.
Ramon Rodriquez, who played Leonardo Ponce De Leon Spitz in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, has a great write up in today’s USA Today. In case you missed the paper, the interview is posted on USA Today’s web site.
I learned something fun from the article – Jonah Hill was actually up for the role of Leonardo. Apparently Ramon blew them away in his audition. It’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role BUT him. He was also perfect in Pelham.

Today it was reported that Megan Fox is in “hot water” for her statements regarding the movie Transformers. Director / Producer Michael Bey was even quoted as saying Megan “Has a lot of growing up to do.” ABC News agreed with Bey and said Fox “put her foot in her mouth again.” Well, folks, Megan Fox, one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood in more ways than one, didn’t put her foot in her mouth and Michael Bey and ABC News should appologize to Fox for their statements.
What do you think, should Michael Bey apologize for lashing out like he did?
Like all of her fans, I adore Megan Fox. I love her energy, enthusiasm, style, and so on. She’s also verrrrry entertaining and it couldn’t be any funner to run a fansite dedicated to her. But, I have to say, when I read that she’s had a quote, I’m beginning to get a little nervous! This girl will say absolutely anything.
Truth be told, though, I love that she’s so outspoken and frank. You never have to wonder where she stands on a subject or what she’s thinking – because she’ll sure as heck tell you.
So, here’s the latest:
Megan said, “I’m in the movie, and I read the script, and I watched the movie, and I still didn’t know what was happening,” she says. “So I think if you haven’t read the script and you go and you see it and you understand it, I think you might be a genius.” She has also said that she doesn’t so much act in the film as run screaming toward the camera.
Michael Bay’s response? He told the Wall Street Journal, “Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do.”
As far as Fox’s comments that the films don’t offer much in the way acting, Michael Bay totally disagreed. “Nic Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in ‘Armageddon.’ Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did ‘Transformers’ — and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from ‘Bad Boys.’ Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in ‘Transformers.’ I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”
I read all of Megan’s comments and the thing is, I can’t remember her ever insinuating that the rest of the cast doesn’t act. She was being humble (which is a quality she has a great deal of) and underestimating her contribution to the film. She certainly wasn’t trying to say no one ever acted in any of Bay’s movies for crying out loud.
I think someone, somewhere is making too much of this – and it isn’t Michael Bay or Megan Fox. I firmly believe they have a good working relationship.
Besides, anything Megan may have said hasn’t hurt the film one little bit. In fact, she’s been all over the world promoting the movie – tirelessly giving interviews and turning her world upside town. She has given SO much of herself to the Transformers movies and is largely responsible for the franchise’s success.

I just added the pictures of Megan Fox from the Revenge of the Fallen Press Conference on May 24. She looks stunning, of course. She seems incapable of looking any other way.
For the record, I thought she looked fantastic at the MTV Movie Awards. Some people didn’t like her hair pulled back, but I thought it showed off her flawless face even better. I hate it when celebrities look the same at each event, you never know which one it was unless you look at the date. Thank goodness for stars like Rihanna and Megan Fox who change things up and catch you off guard.
As for her looking pissed during the opening performance – I think it was all part of the act. It was obvious, at the very end, that it was all staged.
