Megan Fox recently told Fox News why she thinks she’s often called the new Angelina Jolie, “I think its cause she has tattoos really, I think a lack of creativity on the media’s part. I am a brunette with tattoos, I curse and I have made mention of sex before. I joked about it which people find outrageous so they want to constantly compare that to her. You know Shia (LaBeouf) is the new Tom Hanks, Rihanna is the new Beyonce. Everybody is the new somebody although none of us are any of those people so you just walk around with it, you live with it.”
You know, I really don’t like the concept of anyone being the “new” anyone – especially when the so-called “old” one is still alive, well, and just as hot, popular, and talented. Not only is it not at all fair to the original celebrities, it isn’t fair to the “new” ones. No one wants to be an imitation or impersonator of someone else – they’re their own person.
Angelina Jolie’s father, actor Jon Voight, also disagrees with the comparison.
“Megan is herself and Angelina is herself. No one is comparable; everyone in the world is unique. That’s the great thing about it, but of course they’re two very beautiful women.”
Can’t argue with that!

After a day (and night) spent promoting their hot hit, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf met up for dinner in NYC. She’s still wearing the gorgeous black dress she wore on Letterman – she just threw a cute sweater over the top.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was everything I hoped it would be – actually, it was better because I didn’t expect so much humor. The action sequences were filled with so much energy that the robots just exploded off the screen.
Any critics who say they couldn’t tell which were the good bots and which were the bad apparently weren’t paying attention (or they’re so old they’re attention was baked years ago). I also keep reading that the movie is “loud” – it’s like, “Sorry, I guess someone should have told Optimus Prime and Bee too sit the enemy down and talk it out – in whispers.” Come on, it’s Michael Bay, it’s Transformers, it’s the best action you’re going to see in a theater – there’s going to be noise!
Megan and Shia were every bit as perfect in T2 as they were in T1. Their chemistry is magic and they did a great job with their roles. They also look hotter than two people have a right to look.
Speaking of hot,my only complaint is this: I wish there had been more Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, and Bumblebee. These three are phenomenal and totally should have been featured more. Hopefully there’ll be a Transformers 3 and they’ll figure heavily in the plot.
Transformers 2 was a fantastic movie and I can’t imagine anyone NOT loving this thrill ride. Humor, drama, action – it’s all there. I loved it and I know you will, too.
Shia LaBeouf Reveals ‘Transformers’ Villain The Fallen.
Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf were seen getting coffee at a doughnut shop in Burbank, California early Wednesday (May 27) morning.
In a recent interview, Megan had this to say about Shia: “He probably is my favorite person in the entire world. Shia makes me laugh harder than anybody I’ve ever known in my life. I end up crying or almost peeing myself every time I’m with him. So he’s just my favorite – I love you Shia! And he’s really super-handsome!”
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen comes out June 24. Counting the days!
More Pictures of Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf apparently told Playboy magazine (jokingly) that he used to spy on Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu during the filming of Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (he was just 16 at the time).
He said: “I remember my trailer was set up in such a way that Cameron Diaz’s and Lucy Liu’s trailers were visible through my window, through this little shade I had.
“I’d put down the blackout shade just enough to have my eye peeping through and get them in my crosses!”
About Megan Fox, Shia said: “[She is a] very attractive girl. Very attractive. And she’s a very close friend.
“But it hasn’t been a romantic thing, because you’re trying to respect the work environment. You don’t push anything. And with sex and romance, things can become so convoluted so fast.”
