Popular Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has signed on for Transformers 3, the third installment directed by Michael Bay.
Patrick will be joining Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, John Malkovich, and The Hangover star Ken Jeong. Patrick Dempsey will portray the boss of Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox). Though not much is yet known about the third edition, we do know that Patrick’s role is “significant to the plot,” Entertainment Weekly.
The movie will begin filming later this month in parts of the United States, Russia, Africa, and China and is expected to released in the summer of 2011.
