Megan Fox, Jonah Hex, and Guns

Megan Fox recently spoke to MTV News about her role in Jonah Hex.

“As a grown adult, I don’t mess around with guns at all. I have a fear of them,” she told MTV News. “But as a child, I grew up in the South. I grew up in Tennessee, and my dad, as a hobby, is a duck hunter. He used to go kill ducks and bring them home, and we would eat them for dinner … we would barbecue them.”

Megan Fox Would Like to Be Sarah Rainmaker

Contactmusic reports that Megan Fox wants to play lesbian superhero Rainmaker from comic book series Gen 13.

“I don’t want people to protest this, but I would like to be Sarah Rainmaker in Gen 13 if they ever made that into a movie,” Megan said.

“She’s a Native American and I have a little bit of that blood in me. It would be a bit of a stretch. Rainmaker has the ability to manipulate the weather and the movement of water, and in the second issue of the series was revealed as a gay woman.”

Next up for Megan Fox will be Passion Play with Mickey Rourke and crime drama The Crossing with Canadian actor Anthony Calla.

If you haven’t seen Jonah Hex yet, be sure to showMegan your support and see it asap.  I’d actually like to see it a second time – I loved it!

Great Megan Fox Quotes About Jonah Hex and The Lord of the Rings

Megan Fox recently admitted to being a big fan of ‘The Lord of the Rings.’

Megan, an avowed comic book fan, gave an off-the-cuff explanation of how you can never please hardcore comic book and Tolkien purists. More importantly, it showed she speaks nerd fluently.

“I’m a ‘Lord of the Rings’ fan. And I’ll go on the forums,” Fox said at the ‘Jonah Hex’ press day. “And they’ll complain that Frodo is eating the Lembas bread outside of Mordor instead of the in the Mines of Moria. And they get really mad.”

“You cannot focus completely on pleasing them because you’ll never win,” she continued. “They’ll never be happy no matter what you do.”

“Peter Jackson and company won like 30 something Oscars for those movies,” she added.

Megan Fox plays a prostitute/heroine who stands by her man, Jonah Hex in the movie.

I saw Jonah Hex a few nights ago and loved it. The movie was even better than I thought it’d be and Josh and Megan did a great job. I honestly don’t know why anyone wouldn’t love the movie – it’s fun, hilarious, sexy, and has plenty of action. Why people just can’t go to a movie and simply be entertained is beyond me.

Have fun for crying out loud!

About the corset she wore in the movie: “I loved the corset,” she said. “Everyone thought I was in pain or hurting or something was wrong with me because my waist was so small. But I enjoyed it. And I wish they would come back into style.”

Megan Fox Loves Fight Scenes!

Megan Fox recently admitted that she actually loves fight scenes.

Megan will appear alongside Josh Brolin in the Western movie Jonah Hex. Apparently her character is no damsel in distress.

“I love fight scenes, I love stunts – that’s when I’m most comfortable,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

“I want to get in there and do it 100 per cent. I don’t want to use stunt doubles. I want to brawl.”

Megan plays Laila, who has been left with scars after living in a brothel. She seduces the sexy, disfigured gunslinger Jonah, portrayed by the wonderful Josh Brolin.

She described her Oscar-nominated co-star as an “incredible, mind-blowing actor”.

In turn, he admitted how he was impressed by her moves.

“Megan, I got nervous. She put herself out there, I think more than anyone,” he said.

Watch for Jonah Hex in theaters on September 10. Can’t wait!
