As you probably already know, Megan Fox is out of Transformer’s 3. Yesterday, word everywhere was that Michael Bay had exacted revenge on Megan by demanding that she be recast.

Now, PEOPLE reports that it was actually Megan Fox’s decision not to return to ‘Transformers.’

“Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3,’” say Fox’s reps. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Word is that Gemma Arterton is a front-runner to be the new female lead in the movie.

Frances McDormand and John Malkovich Sign On For Transformers 3

The news surrounding Transformers 3 just keeps getting better and better. Two of my favorite stars have been added to the cast:  Frances McDormand and John Malkovich. You’ll remember these stars from the Coen Brothers hysterical ‘Burn After Reading.’  Frances McDormand played a sweet, timid  gym employee who spends most of the film hatching plans to make money for her plastic surgery and John Malkovich played a CIA analyst who is fired and decides to write some expose memoir.

John Malkovich (love him, love him, love him) will also be in Jonah Hex.  This versatile, talented actor has been a personal favorite of mine since I can remember.  One of my favorite John Malkovich roles was Athos in The Man in the Iron Mask.   He’s perfect, so there!

The addition of these two outstanding comedic actors would suggest a level of humor in T3, and since Michael Bay does humor brilliantly, I can’t wait.

The script for Transformers 3 is finished, which is exciting news all by itself… But it gets even better. Josh Duhamel is now officially on board for the movie – joining Megan Fox, Shia Labeouf and Tyrese Gibson. I was getting pretty nervous about him!

I’m just hope, hope, hoping that T3 has a lot more of Tyrese, Josh, the ‘rents, and my guy Bumblebee. T2 was kind of disappointing with all of the co-eds and the lack of the core characters from the first movie. Hopefully this one will be more like the original.

Filming for Transformers 3 will begin this summer.   Transformers 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 1, 2011.  Bring it on!

MichaelBay.com has posted some Transformers 3 news.   The much-anticipated movie is shooting in the states as well as overseas.   Action-packed scenes will be shot in Chicago and Moscow. How spectacular does that sound?!

In a pairing that was made in theater Heaven, Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are working on the plot for this Transformers saga.   It’s scheduled to be in theaters July 1, 2011.

Thankfully Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Tyrese Gibson are all returning.  I’m hoping Josh Duhamel does as well.

Is it too much to hope that Bumblebee will be featured more in this Transformers movie? And no more alien campus chicks. I can’t even tell you how much I despised her!

Megan Fox in Berlin

Rumors are springing up everywhere that Megan Fox’s character, Mikaela Banes, will be killed off in the next Transformer’s movie (scheduled for 2011). I suppose they started because of the controversial comments made between Megan, Michael Bay, and certain staff members.

Thankfully, a representative for the actress has dismissed these rumors, telling GossipCop.com the reports are “not true.”

Great news! Now if we could only be assured that Bumblebee will be featured front and center – and will survive as well as Mikaela…

Click the link for the entire set – there are tons of pics and I know you’ll want to see each one. Megan Fox in Berlin wearing a see through dress with a slit up to there.

Bumblebee from Transformers

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” known online as Transformers 2 made more than $800 million in worldwide box office grosses. So a sequel was pretty much a given.

However, with the controversial comments between Megan Fox, crew members, and director Michael Bay, many wondered if Megan Fox would be invited back. Personally, given her insane popularity, I knew she’d be back. I also knew that Michael Bay was professional and cool enough not to let personal issues get in the way of his movies. After all, Megan is very, very, very important to the Transformers franchise.

Today on Michael Bay.com, Transformers 3 was confirmed. The release date is now July 1st 2011. I’m all kinds of excited!

Check out Michael Bay’s direct warning to Megan in the post I linked to. Hilarious.

Kind of topic… but while on Michael Bay.com, check out the trailer for Nightmare on Elm Street.  Wow!  I can’t wait – it looks incredible.   Personally, I think that’s where Jennifer’s Body kind of fell short – it should have been a lot scarier.  They got caught between comedy and horror  and that’s an unusual place.  How great was the dialog though? And Megan did an outstanding job.

What things do you hope for with Transformers 3?  What things do you hope are NO SHOWS? I hope there’s much more Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Bumblebee, and (of course) the parents. I loved the crazy humor the parents and Bumblebee brought to the first film.

As for what I don’t want – no more campus scenes.  Please.  I don’t mind begging.
